5.3 L33 cam specs...marine use????

Inboard boat motors run a wet exhaust. Water is mixed with the exhaust just past the manifold to cool the pipes and muffle the noise.
Cams with a lot of overlap tend to pull water back into the cylinders (reversion).
You can run dry pipes (water jacketed exhaust manifold and pipe), but the tend to be VERY LOUD.

I would imagine its 114' or larger considering its designed for smooth idle and emissions

Yeah, I found the specs on the LQ motors (below), but not on the L33, I'm betting it's about the same as the LQ4. Most marine cams are in the 114-116 LSA range with about 200 duration, so it should work fine.
I was just worried that the L33 with the LS6 heads might have a hotter cam.
