Its very rare to have PCM troubles with these set ups. I suspect something physical is wrong with the assembly/harness or a mismatched sensor etc.

Who did your wiring harness?

Have you tried disconnecting the MAF to see what it does in speed density mode?

Before you go suspecting the PCM, do a continuity test on the IC 4 and IC 7 wires from the PCM connectors to the coils. A bad ground will kill the coils on a whole back, not individuals on opposite sides

If the PCM pins are correct, check the coil connector pins for IGN 12v, GRD, and low ref continuity

If all of those check out good, look into the PCM

swap looks like it should be a blast. Wondering how the 915Transaxle will hold up? The upgraded body looks great too!

If there is anyway to get a straight shot into the throttlebody it is essentially free HP. That crazy 180* turn is ultra restrictive not only with the major turn but the necked down inlet. Since you are DBW you could have an aluminum 90* elbow fabbed up that is even sized throughout and then bolt the TB to the that effectively allowing more room for the "turn."

Update: Problem Found

As I suspected I inspected the reluctor wheel today and discovered that it is bend and has several teeth that are chew'd up and mis-aligned

Any way these can be fixed without dropping the motor?

Its pressed onto the crank

While the crank can be dropped out the bottom it is a royal PITA

God, I hope my reluctor isnt screwed because Im having similar problems, except my misfire occurs randomly across all 8 cyl
