Default Wiring Harness Merging Company

I have a 95 Impala SS, I am currently putting an LQ4 with L92 heads and a L76 intake in this vehicle. I currently have a SPEARTECH Harness for this vehicle but I am looking for a company that will merge my factory harness with the SPEARTECH Harness. The Speartech harness is labeled. I am looking for a custom plug and play harness that looks stock. Thank you in advance.

I spoke to Speartech, there really not in the business of merging harnesses but solely in selling half the harnesses. I need someone to put the two together.

There area always two halves of a swap harness. Swap and original engine harness. The connection of the pair makes it a turn key installation

You have a local autmotive electrical shop? Or you want to send your 95 Impala harness off to someone to integrate with the "plug and play" conversion harness?

Don, call Jared at Current Performance Wiring, 727 844-7570 (do a Google search for the site). He is located in Port Richey, FL, a few miles north of Clearwater, FL. He specializes in LSX, LT1 and Vortec wiring harnesses. Hope this helps.

So basically you are wanting someone to integrate what you have into the Car..

If you got ahold of Speartech that Harness should have been setup ready to go like that..unless you bought the wrong Harness.

You are making it a turn key when you put the ign 12v to the pink wires. If you have a speartech harness, just call them and ask them which wire from the ign switch you need to splice into.

My harness is similar, I had jared at curent performance make it, and John at Speartech fix it, but either way with either of these folks, you tell them what car you are putting the lsx into and they build the harness to your specs for a plug and play. That is how mine worked once it was fixed. You feed to ignition, gauges, and cruise and you are done. In your case you probably do not need to feed to guages as the one wire cold do all of that.

Man bro, I realize exactly whet you're trying to do as I'm in the same boat with my 94' Imp-SS and the worked 5.3 that I have built for it. You're looking to marry the 2 harnesses together so that you can still connect at the vehicles C204 junction underneath the pass-side dash(firewall) which will eliminate having to trace and splice any wires, correct? The C204 connector is where the engine harness connects to the interior and receives power and send the proper signals to the gauges.

Well I attempted the same thing you're doing now and unfortunately no one on this "spectacular" forum quite understood what I was willing to pay for or.... So I found a guy somewhere else who reworks harnesses and I offered to buy him the factory shop manuals for the Imp-SS and pay him if he was willing to take on the job. He has both harnesses and I'm waiting for him to complete them. If all goes well, I'll give you his info so that you can get exactly what it is you're wanting.

Speedscenewiring.com has finally answered the call by us B-body members wanting to have a plug and play wiring harness for the 94-96 ImpalaSS LS series engine swap. But it does cost for the ease of convenience.

All anyone needs, are the GM Service Manuels for the particular model & year vehicle. The wiring diagrams are in them. Contrary to common beliefs, they are very easy to read & understand. This job of marrying the six or so wires from the the main drivers side firewall plug, to the LS engine harness, is extremely simply. Anyone can do it with the Service Manuels. I enjoy understanding & learning the wiring codes, so I know what to do if, say a guage doesn't work perfectly, I don't have to de-rig everything again, and ship it off for a fix. The Manuels come in handy for everything else on the vehicle as well. Good luck with your Impala SS. I had a black '95 as well. Great cars.

**** if you know someone at GM have them print off All Data diagrams..they are perfect for swaps.

And yes..it is really simple..ground the grounds..power the Pinks(Ignition) and Oranges(Constant), and put the Signal wires to the right places.

That's the secret fellas..it's out now..
