From Wikipedia:
"In North America, the Isuzu TF appeared in 1987 as simply the "Pickup", replacing the Japanese-made P'up (KB-Z). Isuzu continued on with the TF until 1996 when it was finally replaced with the Hombre (badged-engineered S-10) in 1996. The only engines available were the 2.3L 4ZD1, and the 2.6L 4ZE1 on four-wheel drive models."
I'd look around and see if anybody has done a swap into an Izusu Amigo/Rodeo. They use similar underpinnings as your truck.

its a 1991 isuzu pick up 2wd 2.3l short bed 5speed truck with front torsion bars
i was doing some measuring and the tunnel and engine bay seem to have enough room to fit an ls1-2 w/ a t-56 rear end still thinking of what to use ?
making motor mounts fit right i think is going to be the hardest part of this swap
