5.3 luv truck..
thank ya thank ya.
awesome, do it!thank you very much

thanks dude.
column and wheel.. ididit is a little different from flaming river so i took the column apart to see how it needs to be shortened, simple still, but more work than a flaming river. so if you are gonna have to shorten a column, get flaming river.

What was wrong with modifying the original frame with the new suspension? It is a LOT of work to build a custom frame. Were you in the mindset of "since I have to replace all the front and rear suspension I may as well make rails to attach them?

yes thats the master cylinder linkage. it will have manual brakes.. a vette master cylinder. it all fits. will be a bitch to fill, but yeah.. i kind of though about remove reservoirs, but i think they have to be higher than the master cylinder, and thatll be hard to do.
yeah.. no point in keeping two factory bulky ugly rails when swapping all the suspension. plus i would have had to cut the floor for the rails to get the body to lay on ground.. this way i didnt have to. building a full frame wasnt quite as bad i thought.. just hope it drives straight!

I can dig that. I figured that was the objective. I hope you did your math right too.
Where are you at? All your stuff has flash rusted so fast!!! We've been getting so much crap cold and snow I'm thinking of making my next project a Gen III snowblower!

no, but it appears to be popular one to take pics of hahaha
me and some friends went to junkyard today and my buddy showed me these locks. i love em. so we yanked em off. i sprayed some wd-40 on them and got the covers moving smooth. i had to cut off the arm on the backside that is supposed to attatch to the door lock mechanism. it will need to be modified. but i am going to take them to a locksmith and see if he can cut a key for them first. if not.. they will just look good in there.. i to modify the hole for them.

seats all mounted. i have the covers that goes on the sides, i just need to put them back on.

the tubing will be boxed in and bolts welded to them so they drop in like factory and i just run nuts up the bottom

quite a bit on room behind them. i plan on a 2 or 4 channel amp, and then run a wire off it for my ipod. no radio for me.

and just a pic lol
It's good for you though.
I dig the locks. They have the right look for your truck, kind of a retro old school thing.
had to make a video cause i was excited. needs lubed up some more.. but it works! duno how to rotate video

started on bed floor frame work. decided to not make a door in the floor that opens..

front clip back off

top of bed same height as top of bumper. haha

old man making some headway with his shitttttttt

I saw the band saw in the last photo. I have the exact same one I bought maybe 10+ years ago. Fabrication wise I think it has to be one of the best investments I ever made!
ran out of metal.. guess ill stop by home depot and see if they have 1x1 so i can finish the last little bit of frame work.
pics came out shitty as ****. had to adjust them alot to see anything...

sat a piece up there to see how the sides will look.
This truck is looking good. I like the closed bed idea, it makes everything look a lot more professional.
I think I may know the answer but what color are you going to paint it?
