Both trucks are a short bed. The stripes make it look longer.

Borla Pro XS mufflers

Rear bumpers are next to impossible to find. Even harder to find one in as good of shape as mine. Fronts are a little easier to come by, but still not easy to get ahole of a straight one. My advice would to be search everywhere on craigslist, swap meets, local truck forums.. luvtruck.com.. ebay doesnt usually have much for bumpers

Too bad, but thanks anyway, I thought Houston might have a store that specializes in this type of luv trucks. Thanks and keep posting about your luv truck and posting more photos. I really like your luv truck. and if you could get me some parts that I said can you tell me to build my luv truck. thanks

Cool build. A friend in highschool had one with a 327. The truck would fry the N-50's on 10" rims out back. The tires had tread on the outsides and the centers were bald. I think it still had the stock leaf springs and the tires stuck out from the fenders about 6" on each side. LOL

Your build is much nicer than his. Keep up the hard work.

You will love the 408!!! Mine still gets over 21mpg on the highway and blasts by most cars on the street with ease. I had Alvin Anderson at PCMforLess spec my Comp cam and she idles perfect and pulls hard through-out the entire rpm range. Now to get my heads ported!

Can't wait to see the new engine in the truck that intake looks sick on there!

I do have a question though. What size is your front rim and tire?

No hood for now. Once I get front end bolted back on I will take some measurements to see how tall of a cowl it would take to cover it just for laughs. Probably wind up with a nice hole trimmed to fit the intake tight.

I think the stock hood trimmed out would be cool with no cowl.

The motor is far too pretty to put the sheetmetal back on.
