Why'd you dump the clutch while it was on the rollers?

This was shared with me because I had a history with the car. Made me think a little. He didn't do any thing I didn't (or alot of us on here) do on the street and this is the reality of the danger. On the brighter side there was a passenger that walked away.

Was it the Ahmed guy who was posting in the thread here? That's a nasty accident.

It was Ahmed as it seems. Also it doesn't appear he was racing anyone, rather was making a solo run with his passenger. Scary stuff. It's obvious that he left the road and struck a tree on the driver's side of the car, but I wonder what exactly what happened to cause it to leave the road. Insane to see how the cage did absolutely nothing in the way of keeping the car together, he must of been traveling in excess of a 120 if I had to guess. Really unfortunate, he was pretty young, luckily no other drivers or pedestrians were struck.

Yea Ahmed. As far as the cage I removed the door bars to make it more of a street car and Ahmed told me he got a couple hundred pounds out of it. Wonder if the whole thing was removed?

No, I could see remnants of it the wreckage. Thinking more about it, there's really nothing short a 25.5 funny car cage that'd kept that car together, with the velocity that it appears it had when it struck the tree. The passenger must have had a rabbit's foot up his *** to get as lucky as he did, considering the racing harnesses were ripped clean off of both of them and tossed towards the back of the car.

Ya, I don't ever recall doing triple digits in a residential area, but I've done my fair share of risky things.
