intake is ported on the cylinder head side but the inlet side was left mostly alone.... I might do more to it or maybe I will just leave it and turn the boost up!!

I would bet the V band clamp could make life a whole lot easier if you are short on room under the hood.

Thumbs up

You realize this thing has to beat a 9.49 to bead Parish right? But if it ran 9.50 in your Stang, that shouldn't be a problem!!! I don't think they even pulled the heads on that 5.3 in that Fairmont!!! It's all in the tuning I guess. Did you take your Mustang to a PSCA race, or just have the windshield banner? IF you made it to a PSCA race from up there I wouldn't have any excuse to not go, I'm way closer than you (Montana). Love the car, and the whole build, I love reject cars that no one wants!! Especially when you kick someone's *** in thier million dollar 69 Camaro!! I'm so sick of belly button cars!! Did I mention I like your car?!!

Just the banner as I love street car style drag racing! As for beating parish I know what his record was but there is another guy who has us both beat at around 9.38ish(search fastest stock shortblock and you will find him) Although I ran in the 9.5x's and parish went a 9.49 his best mph I believe was around 143 max and mine was 147.

i know I have the power to beat both records its just a matter of getting the thing to 60 ft like it should.

Did a bit of work tonight on the future chute mount/trailer hitch

I will be plating the frame before the tube gets welded in place and there will also be some more bracing to the leg that sticks out. Also plan to tie the rear most fuel cell mounts into the cross bar.

I appologize for the terrible cell phone pics but its all I had with me at the time.

Affirmative on street car drag racing, there is none better!! I went to a psca test and tune January 09 in vegas, not many cars, but the ones that were there were ******* amazing!!! I'll never forget an 86 hatch that was down there that ran 8.20 with a pretty simple Windsor, stock suspension and radials!! Yeah I'm sure you're well aware of all the "records," I was just being a smart ***. 9.30's huh? WOW!! IS it a 6.0? ******' awesome car man, hope you go 8's!!!!

couple more pics of the struts/coil overs, Mind the rusty strut bolts and gross inner fenders all of that will be cleaned up before its done...... Also waiting on an A arm hardware kit so the way too long huge bolts are on to get things rolling.

Got a little more work done on the chute mount... made some plates to weld to the frame rails before I weld the chute mount in place, probably not neccesary but I am sure cant hurt.

Obviously I will have to clean the frame etc up better before any welding takes place.

The plate on the frame rail, It will be fully welded all the way around:

Here is the mount cross member on the floor with the two frame rail plates, I still need to triangulate the outrigger of the "T" but ran out of time tonight.
