Did you buy the "LS1 Coupe" from St. Pete?

Here are some update photos

I will be running wiring soon and dropping in the new carpet for trimming.

Did some more work a night or two ago. Test fitted the new carpet and pulled the fenders off. Absolutely no rust whatsoever underneath.

We have everything but the fuel system and the trans ready to go in. I tore down the new 5.3 yesterday and will be pulling apart the bottom end tonight. I'm going to soak the heads and get them cleaned up along with having the block hot-tanked. I also have a spare 6.0 that I'll probably end up building next year.

Out with the old

In with the new!!

They are SN95 spindles and I'll have 03 Cobra brakes up front and PBR's in the rear. I'll have an 8.8 in the rear, built to the nines. I have a set of spacers some guy on Corral makes to keep the fox ball joints with the sn95 spindles too. I picked up a 95 Cobra booster and MC to handle that side with new brakes and a manual prop valve.

I wish had the patience to weld up the holes. This car is being built on a "budget" and I don't have a welder at my house. Make sure to post up pics as you're doing it

Looking good!

Just curious why the 6.0 is your spare (vs. the 5.3)? Why didn't you go with the 6.0 from the get-go?

5.3 was picked up for less than $250 and it's still in great condition. I'm still in the air as to what to do with the 6.0.. I had the 6.0 from a local shop pull-out already, but came across the 5.3 and I figured it would be a cheaper to get everything set in there with and then swap to the 6.0 down the road.
