Are you running the LS3 screw-down MAP sensor or did the LY6 sensor swap over somehow?

Thanks for the pics! That looks perfectly functional to me! Maybe not a show winner, but it gets the job done. Can you take any pics of the O-ring you used?

Ive heard a lot of people do that. Basically just double up on the ly6s oring. They also make connectors that go from the ls3 map to the older style wiring, which is what ill be doing

Man, what a bummer. I imagine that oil pump failure was related. Good luck with the reassembly.

Just a random question here on this...I am just about to purchase an LS9 cam and was going to go with LS3 springs myself, but was concerned that because of the heavy L92 valves the LS3 springs would have an issue.

I am probably just going to go with some PRCs with pushrods and call it a day but didn't want to have to replace the seals, etc...since these were very low mileage heads.

Just wondering if you heard differently? I knwo the LS9 cam will work with LS3 springs. If I am ok with the L92 valves with LS3 springs then I will definitely go that route.

Thanks and great project yourself!

im not an expert on spring question..ive read some guy on here pused 18 psi on stock ls3 valve springs.. and pused it to 22psi.. from a pretty decent turbo.so im not worried about instaling them..60 bucks brandnew..or $150 + for nicer springs.. id ask that question in the genIV internal section..
