For me the humor in the project makes it worth while. Everyone would talk about it for sure.

Thats the way I look at it...

and as an update(I forgot how this started)

I would not longer plan on pulling the engine from my Trans Am..

I would keep the Trans Am, and the prius would get a ~LS2, big single turbo? (1000+WHP), 4L80 or 2ML70, 4-link rear, full cage/front/back half, possibly cutom front suspension also.

The thing about prius's (or Prii apparently lol) being fitted with sound systems is true... I have my sight and hearing and I still almost got hit my one in a parking lot... they are the silent killer lol. If you want to hit someone and kill them with a car, pickup a prius!

The Long Island Expressway has a HOV lane and the DMV allows the Prius to access the lane without any passengers because of it's mileage/emission rating.

Imagine driving the LSX powered Prius in the HOV lane! LOL

I walked past a prius on the way to my car yesterday and also ended up following one while driving.

Something to consider: there is just no frontal area to the grill, so I dont know how you would fit a radiator capable of cooling the 8.

No worries, I just get annoyed with people thinking Im some rich *****.

When I started this thread I was thinking about pulling the motor from my trans am and sticking it in something else.

but since then, I have put a lot of money into the actual car, (suspension, interior, sound system, etc..) so basically this car will never be sold.

but I still have plans for a prius... someday, just with a different engine.
