Default Connector C100 G: EVAP/EGR

I deleted the EVAP (pink & green/white) plug out my engine harness, and I was about to get rid of the wiring all the way to the PCM, except I noticed that according to the wire diagram C100 G (pink wire) is titled "Fuse #11 EVAP/EGR 10amp". I want to keep EGR...when I trace the pink wire from the EVAP plug back through the harness it doesn't connect to the EGR anywhere...and also according to the wiring diagrams they never connect.

Why is Connector C100 G called "EVAP/EGR" if they never meet? Confused here....I hope by cutting off my EVAP plug and deleting the wires out of the wiring harness I didn't somehow lose EGR function!

According to my pinout diagrams, C100G on a 99-02 LS1 harness lists as "Ignition 1 Voltage", also as "Hot with Ign 1 Relay Engaged (Tranny/EGR 15A)". On my 95 LT1 harness this connector lists as "Pwr feed from ignition fuse #11" which I found to be pwr for my 4L60e per ShoeBox and Chilton Manual

Per Chilton Manual, 95-earlier LT1, EGR gets power from brn wire, "fans/actr fuse 6 10A", and connects to the PCM/ECM with a gry and a grn/wht wire.
