are you using factory cross member? Just trying to figure out exhaust on mine. I am running factory double hump cross member and its right in the way of the collector

yep factory double hump, my x pipe needed extended 1" over from where the 302 headers originally lined up with it but everyting clears good on mine.

Drove it last night. Tuned and drove home. Also drove it to work this morning. Runs pretty good for a stock motor.

2820 with no driver.

Amazing how light those cars are. He outta be very close to my ET. My Fbod weighs in at 3680 with driver.

i wonder where my extra weight came from. i know the th400 is 157lbs. and the turbo is 42lbs, i guess the intercooler, merge pipe, and intercooler pipes add up. also had dam near a full tank of gas. did you?

what did you use for a throttle cable ? ... the one i bought the spring bottoms out befroe WOT .

Did you have to mod the cable at all or just the bracket? Anything extensive?

Had to drill one hole so I could put a screw in to hold the cable. Thats it. Took 10 minutes tops to have it working properly.

I think the problem is he is running carb and you are F.I. He probably didnt notice that.
