another this or that motor question, sorry I can get two different lq4 motors in my price range.
One is '03 from a van, $600 with 120K on it, no accessories
Other is supposedly only got 36k on it for $1100, is an '02 from a denali, no accessories.
Now if I got the '03 it would get a 226-ish cam added since it is cheaper.
So, would I be better off with a cammed 120K lq6, or stock 36K lq4? I want to add a cam, but am trying to keep initial swap cost down (unemployed
).

). My $0.02, vans and pickups are a lot more likely to lived a hard life. Vans for work, deliveries, lots of city driving...truck for towing, plowing, etc.
I went for an LQ9 out of an escalade with fairly low miles. No one ever towed or plowed with an escalade.
