Fuel Filter Hey fuel system gurus, I went to my local Cadillac dealer to do the crank learn on my LY5 install and while I was there the tech measured my fuel PSI and found it at 85 on the rail! I am using the stock 2008 fuel pump module but I didn't know there a a control module for the fuel pump so I am running way too high. The tech told me that the CTS filter is just like the Vett one with the PSI return to the tank and showed me one and it looks the similar. Rock Auto has them; Delco one (GF897) for $18.83 and the Wix (33889) one for $10.36 but the engine side looks like it uses a different fitting.

Can anyone verify that it would have the regulator built in? My AllData subscription does not have Cadillac so I cannot read the function of the fuel system. If it does, it may be a much cheaper alternative to the vette...

As you noted this filter is used across much of the Cadillac line making it much more available and thus cheaper than a Corvette filter.

I just put on the vette filter (vet tax and all) and you cover the supply end and try to blow into it nothing comes out of the return, the cadi one is free flowing out of the return... I was thinking it would be a less expensive option, but it did not look like it.

Verdad Gallardo well mainly because so far the cheapest I've found them around here is $50 so I saved a little and didn't need it that day anyway
