So does anyone know why fitment issues between the headers and steering are such a huge problem? It seems like at least every other build thread I read people are having issues like this or problems with the headers hitting something else, basically stuff not fitting right. Is it just that Fox chassis like to shift around or poor quality manufacturing from AJE or Dyantech/Kooks?

Just wondering because I plan on doing this swap in 3-4 months and seeing this worries me lol

my driver side header collector is also in line with my mount off the body for the trans crossmember , not way to put an exhaust on .. unless you cut the header back 3-4" ..going to call them

I have kooks 1 7/8" and they fit really good at the steering shaft but the collector was right in line with the tranny mount also. my buddie modified the header a little. Sometimes you gotta make stuff fit. My k member is a PA racing road racing peice that had ls1 mounts welded in.

Check out my thread....
https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...come-here.html

With all these issues coming up, i'm sure dynatech is going to have to move that last primary in some.
