who built it? someone local? Man that crap sucks I spent a bunch of money in a 4l60e with a total of 3 rebuilds before I got it right. Had to send it to frank cahall about 2k miles away. The other builders did the same thing yours is doing. Both rebuilds lasted about 200 miles. Good luck I hope you get it resolved.

Nice build. I hope you get your final issues worked out soon so you can get to the track.
I'm helping a buddy putting an LQ4 in an 87 w/ a powerglide. We're using a carb, so it looks like it'll be set up very similiar to yours.
I missed what you are using for ignition. Is it an MSD controller? We're just getting started doing the research.
How does it work? Sorry for the dumb question, but no distributer right? so it must get a signal from a sensor in the engine?
So different than an old school bigblock...
Thanks

Our car already has the AJE K-member, just need to get the LS motor mounts. and figure what headers are the best fit. I like that Dynatech has stepped up to the plate for you guys...
Using a CTS-V oil pan too. and it seems most are using F-body waterpump/altenator as well...
Then of course getting a drive shaft...
Work in progress... fun stuff though...
PS this is a track only car...

Thanks. Using your info I did some searching. That seems like a sweet plug and play set-up.

ive got dynatech headers and i like the way there headers fit doesnt come close to hitting anything , i've found the CTS-V oil pan fits the best IMO
and NO deff not a track only car , in the short time i've been able to drive it
i've had alot of fun with it .

buddy of mine talk to one of the best 200r4 trans builders in the country and he seems to believe it's the govenor , so today i'm pulling the pan and the govenor out , have to let him know what i have in there now .. and he's going to build me a govenor that works
cross my fingers he's right and i'll have my car back up again .
