Awesome build... I can't believe the track is letting you run with that box and that bottle mount in a hatch, lol.

Great build doing the same thing with a 85 coupe. What did the LQ4 come out of YMM ? Did you install arp rod bolts/screws? Stock pistons w/150 shot?

The car is sweet. I have a 88 notch that I just bought a 04-05 6.0 for it. What heads are on yours I was thinking of putting some L92s on mine. What did you have to do to get the steering shaft to work, is ther 2 joints in it? is it a manual Flaming river steering rack? I have heard that the AJE K-members are not good for a street car, but do you still drive it alot on the street, I am just concerned with it flexing or bending. What did you settle for a carb? Sorry for all the questions, BTW Excellent job

i have Texas speed 2.5 ls6 heads , steering shaft i just had to buy a 18" piece of "D" shaft and cut it to lenth , my steering knuckle is on the firewall side of the headers ( with the ford motor the knuckle is on the inside of the header) yes i have flaming river manual rack , i've had my AJE k-memeber for 3 years now .. no problems and i drive my car on the street everywhere .
and for a carb i went with a pro systems 950 ( flows 830cfm ) best carb i ever bought .

Dickie-

I live near New Haven.

Real nice build.

I know you didn't build it for economy, have you calculated MPG?
What rear gear? T400?
