79 trans am ls1 no start im just finishing up with a ls1 swap in my 79 trans am and im to the point of starting it before tidying up things.
unfortuneatly its not starting. Ive deleted vats with hp tuners and im 99.9% sure that all wiring is correct. The fuel pump will not get power from the pcm but will when i use a jumper wire. Then when I get fuel to the rail from jumping the fuel pump the injectors seem to not fire.
What could be causing this?

sounds like your ign signal from the switch isnt reaching the ecm/ pump relay. Trace the pump realay wire to it source, it should have 12V with ign on. Have you tried a noid light to see if your injectors aregetting voltage? but with two seprate el systems not working I bet there is a bad connection on the IGN side of the system. Good Luck!
