This is a great old thread. I've used it many times.

Does anybody know the flow and pressure numbers for the 2010+ Camaro power steering pump?

EDIT: Got the specs, thanks to the folks at Cardone:

2010+ Camaro
Flow: 0.9 to 1.3 GPM @ 400 RPM; 1.8 to 2.2 GPM @ 1500 RPM - Flow tested at about 100psi
Max pressure: 1700 to 1850 PSI

I assume those are pump shaft RPMs, not engine RPMs. I do not know the correlation between engine RPM and pump shaft RPM. These are the speeds where Cardone tests their reman'd pumps.

Also, this pump uses the truck accessory spacing/depth.

Default P/S pump pressures

as-reminder earlier in post
A Borgenson p/s pump pressure reducer kit was used
To reduce pressure.
I used the same kit ( cost was $17 @ Jegs )
Used 4 washers to reduce pressure on my
05 corvette pump to 800 psi
Very simple fix
Better than cutting spring

Are there detailed instructions on how much each shim reduces pressure? I'd like to use it with my LS1 pump and BMW rack.

Hey guys I've been trying to find this out for many months but I am getting ready to buy my GoatBuilt accessory brackets for my third gen LS Swap. For the f-body power steering pump, is it a CBR type or a TC type? Like I have said I have been searching for about 6 months but just can't find out the difference.

just to clarify, all these type II pumps have the same dimensions, what makes the belt spacing different is what pulley you put on it. vette has a smaller shaft because its better supported by bearings correct

Bumping a good old thread with a newer product finding: https://www.turnone-steering.com/col...ering-fittings

Flow restrictor instead of shimming. Check out the Tech 101 for explanation as to why. https://www.turnone-steering.com/blogs/tech-101
