Hi Rich,
Thanks for the compliments. The console and seats were in the car when I got it, but I was told that they were out of a late model Acura. I'll keep you posted on the time slips!

For now, the front suspension is stock. For the rear suspension, I have Metco control arms and an HR Part rear bar.

Man, that looks great!
I wish I knew how to put a turbo on my car. I think a boosted 6.0 would work great in my 70 camaro but I don't have any idea how to hook something like that up.

That looks like a monster in the making! I raced the GNs for years. I can't imagine what that thing will do.

I'm with you, i even bought a book on it from Borders and all the book covers is the history of turbocharging. But my plan is to take what i've read and seen here and apply it to my build and hope for the best.

It's been too long since I've updated this thread. I've been enjoying driving the car! I've been driving and tuning on it for a few weeks now. It runs great. I still haven't brought it to the track yet, but it's an animal on the road. I plan on racing it in the next couple of weeks. I'll update you when I get a timeslip.

I made the mounts myself. I knew where I wanted the engine to sit, so I put it there. A good friend built the headers and did all of the tubing work. I'm very pleased with the way it turned out!

I put the lightest spring in the gate to start with and didn't get it over 5 psi today, but it still felt good. I hope to hit the track soon!

I like your setup... I saw it on the turbobuick board first and i was following the build , It came out nice.. What kind of numbers are you getting out of it?

Thanks

Nice build! I sold a similar 87 T a handful of years ago, wish I still had it. It was white with a blue split bench, chrome bumpers, column shift,.... you know, grandma's regal. Shoulda kept it and done exactly what you're doing.

I made a couple of hits this weekend. It went a 10.79 at 127. I had the little 255/60 drag radials on it with the factory wheels. Next time out, I'll put the lightweight wheels and 275 drag radials on it. I should be able to improve the 1.77 quite a bit.

It's the Edelbrock intake. Intakeelbows.com made the elbow. The throttle body is a FAST 90mm.

I recognize the intake but I thought you had to use it with a carb?
