Tell me this is going to fit.....

It looks like it's off a few inches from lining up or am I just overreacting? My mounts are all stock 1976 Camaro and the adapter plates are 1" set-back plates 3/8" thick.
Any tips on getting this in place? I'm pretty sure my lower mounts are in the right spot.

Try unbolting the crossmember side mounts and shooting the long bolt through so they hang from the engine. Now set the engine back in there and see which holes it best lines up with. You may end up drilling your own

I emailed him earlier to see if he would be interested in making some exhaust flanges to bolt on to camaro LS1 exhaust manifolds. This makes the second set of plates I bought from him and communication isn't his strongest trait.
But he will ship pretty quick...you should see them by the end of the week.

I ended up using the hoist and a floor jack to tilt the engine at the correct angle using a pry bar and working the rubber section around in the lower mount on the drivers side until the bolt finally slid in.
Last thing I did was englarged the drivers upper mount hole on the rear to allow the bolt to go through (it was at a angle and and wasn't going through the rear hole...it liked an 1/8" from clearing. Once the nut is in place you won't even notice it.
It wasn't an easy job but it's done....I'll take pics in a little bit.
I do have a complete new interior to go back in and it has 17" wheels on it. Maybe in a few months I'll have it back together where I can drive it.
. Just made a deal with a guy on a 90k miles ls1/t56, harness, pedal assembly, master cylinder, brake booster, tan seats (front and back) for pretty damn cheap off a 01 ws6.
Quick questions for the OP.
1. What springs and shocks are you using?
2. Is your block iron or aluminum?

The 1998 manifolds will shoot down perfectly on the passenger side for easy exhaust hook up. Here are some pics a member was nice enough to send me in comparison.
