Sam, I just spent some time going through this post, congrats on the great car. It's amazing what you accomplished on your own, great work.
Can't say much that hasn't already been said. Glad that your efforts were rewarded with the show win. You even had a color-matching stripe on your shirt.....

I'm with chobes on his comment, everyone has said it. Fantastic build Sam. I've seen where an original 68 GTO was placed over the top of a late model GTO (or something like that) and seeing your car with that interior is another amazing feat. Torn on whether to do that with my 68 Goat but I'm certainly entertaining this idea on my 68 RS Camaro. I reckon I better look for some 04 BMW seats. LOL. Awesome, just awesome. Thanks for the great thread and to see a project car completed.

SamHatCo,
Glad someone asked about the CA glue, I was going to too. You gave a very detailed answer. I absolutely love your build. Love the interior too. I like the old muscle cars, but not a fan of some of the stock dashes. Hats off to your craftsmanship!

My buddy and I were parked in the same parking lot with you at the "Block Party" this morning at CTC (his car is the black '94 Z28 that was in GMHTP this month). Your car looks even better in person than in the pics (and that's quite a feat!)

Newb to the forum and am walking the fence on converting my 69 Camaro to LS power. Your car is almost undescribable.....awsome work. I have a 99 LS1 and a 4L60E along with most of the 99 Z28 that I am stripping down. my car has the Hotchkis lowered speings in the front and I wanted to know how low your headers hung. from your posts I have that you used Carshop engine adapters and Hooker headers. What mounts did you use? Were you able to retain the stock LS F body oil pan? How low do the headers hang? any fitment issues? Sorry for all the questions its just so many people are making parts but there is no way to see how they will work together and I am on limited funds. Pictures of your ground clearance would be great. BTW I was also planning on using the rear brakes on the doner car. Your write up will help me out greatly there.
Thanks
Thanks

That's four generations of Trans Ams 69, 79, 89, and 99. It was very cool seeing them all together
I won't be making CTC this year as I'm taking the family to Washington DC in a couple of weeks.
