Use baffle with S&P pan?
Use baffle with S&P pan? I had an LH8 setup on my motor but finally bought a modified fbody pan. When I removed the LH8 pan, I left the baffle bolted to the motor.
I haven't started the motor yet and have not tightened everything. Do I need to remove the baffle and just mount the oil pan?

When you say Baffle.. are you referring to the Windage Tray as it is commonly called (or a defector as GM calls it).?
usually the F-Body pan will require a 3/4 length one.. as the front of the F-Body pan is very close to the block and rotating assembly.
If you using the LH8 one, it should be a full Length one. you can cut it down to the 3/4 Length ok if you need to.. and you should be ok.
