Ok thanks for all the advice guy (post-drive by wire driving me crazy), but the fuel injection has been scraped.
Went to livernoir motorsports and ordered intake/msd box/tci trans controller, today. ANy suggestions on a carb and fuel regulator set up? 1968 Chevy impala/2007 Lq4/4l80e. Fuel system is a 1995 caprice fuel tank with walbro hi-pro intank fuel pump and 1998 Corvette regulator/filter. Set up was pumping a healthy 57psi to the fuel rail, now I need knock that pressure down since I am going carbed. And what a good sized carb for this set up? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IH19cpgyNhw

You need to swap it for a late 80's early 90's EFI pump.. (15psi ?).. and use a regulator on it to bring it down to 6-8psi.. Also, there might be some lower pressure pumps that mgiht work..
If you use the LS1 or LT1 pump.. you will burn it out buy regulating it down that far.
I recall that I used a GM AC/Declo pump #25168719 to convert my 84 Z28 L69 car from mechnical pump to intank pump.. maybe it might work (google it to cross reference it to other brands). It might work ?

This is a good thread to start with

Most guys go with a 750 carb of some sort. If I had to do it again I would look at the quick fuel carbs. Seem to be aquality piece with lots of adjustability. Used carbs will save some serious bucks. I can tell you first hand an out of the box double pumper needs some work to function right with a single plane intake. Nothing that can't be worked, but I have to think there are better starting points.

After months of chasing my tail and thousands of dollars spent, I have found that my 6.0. from a donor vehicle (2007 2wd chevy silverado classic crew cab 1500hd with 6.0 lq4/317 heads/4L80 trans), has a 58 tooth reluctor wheel. Finally after snatching the wiring harness and f.i. system (modified and flashed by SPEARTECH spring 2009) off after it was all installed but not functioning properly and then converting over to carb/intake, and still having electronic issues, the problem was narrowed down to timing. I spoke with edelbrock and MSD techs and they told me that the information that I believe to be true was incorrect (24x wheel) and they told me how to look and see.
