theres the thread, just notch the brackets to clear the core support for when they are slid back, and drill new holes, and bam!

Like? i converted it to 3 bolt cam and used ARP bolts. Besides that i'll reuse everything else.

I've read that the bolts holding the phaser and/or timing set were torque-to-yield and therefore not reusable. Sounds like you went to a non vvt cam so it's a mute point.

could you please tell me the specs on the wheels are you using spacers what bolt patern are they bmw 5x120 not chevy 5x120.65 or 5x4 3/4 sure would apreciate the help

after two weeks of messing with it a very helpful local shop got it running today. hoping for dyno time this weekend!

yes starter enable wire needs to be grounded or starter check needs to be disabled in the PCM. Either will allow it to start.

I will be getting these wheels for my ventura they do come in 5x4 3/4 just got to check out that back spacing havent seen a nova be able to fit a 275 tire in the front you should put this car on pro touring .com a lot of peopple would be interested in the wheels and the build sweet fng car

Thanks mine has 285's on the front now and they barely rub... Im going down to a 245 front tho as i dont think much bigger on a 8.5 wheel will look good.

I've put almost 700 miles on it so far. Work got slow so im waiting on dyno money and changing the rear syspension back to leaf springs. Ill try to get some pics up later of it cleaned up and outside.

Right now it has a torque arm setup in it. Lower control arms go to the stock leaf spring front mounts, custom built torque arm runs in the tunnel up to just behind the trans to its own cross member and has a panhard bar off the pass frame rail to the housing and has coil overs in front of the axle. It all works really good but being all solid heims it's really loud.

love the novas but you cant find one up here in NY worth building anymore..maby come tax return time i can get one..but i LOVE the lsx swaps. FINE JOB SIR!!!

Well i put about 3k miles on it this year, now time to go under the knife for a few more mods before spring and i plan on driving this thing DAILY for the better part of 2011! woot
