Great looking swap! Very clean.

Where did you mount your coils?

Coils are mounted on custom made brackets under the manifolds. The passenger side was a treat making them clear the turbo downpipe and wastegate downpipe.

Finished that one last year. Still never been above 10# boost at the track. Dyno'd 853/wheels on 16# boost.

Car is pretty neat though, stock leather seats, power windows, 3.08 gear, mild converter....9.30s at 147 so far on 10#

I'd still like more info on the coil relocation. Been fighting with getting the heat sinker truck coils on my build, also C6 flipped.

Bringing this thread up from the dead, but we just made some changes on the car. Upped the turbo to a TC78, changed to an LS6 intake and some other minor things.

On 14lbs and still the STOCK LS1 the car made 673/ wheels and 684 lb/ft

First of all that is an awesome looking car and an immaculate engine bay! Are you running that much boost on pump gas, if so do you have water meth injection?

on the dyno or track? yes to both lol. not exactly sure what he made on the dyno but i think on 8lbs with the mp70 he was in the 515ish whp. on pump. not sure what he had the boost at when he went to the track but i believe he went 10.70 or something like that. maybe he will chime in and give the correct numbers if infact im wrong lol.

I am curious because I am going to be comparing a MP T70 to a TC76 on four different motor: 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L & 6.0. They will all be stock and I am going to try to keep the CR the same. I do not think I will be able to get dyno numbers on all of the combos but certainly track time with them all.

yes i ran the mp t70 set up last year, on 93 fuel only... at 8lbs i laid down 515 to the ground. i turned it up to 12 pounds at the track and ran a 10.73 @ 128....2nd pass i shattered the stock posi 12 Bolt.

now im on 110 with the 78 ceramic ball bearing turbonetics and ls6 intake... track pass still to come
