does anyone know the length of the sump on a truck pan compared to the mast? I have a 5.3L with the truck pan in my 80 Z28 and i did not have to use any relocation motor mounts. Its tight at the subframe to the front of the sump of the pan but clears. problem is the pan hangs so low that even going into the garage from the driveway at a certain angle i can tag the pan off the ground. Not good. if the mast pan sump is the same length as the truck pan then i would be ordering one.

Has anyone with this pan plumbed their mechanical oil pressure gauge yet?

A Mast information sheet states that the port on the bellhousing side of the oil filter mount is " 3/8" NPT can be adapted for mechanical oil pressure gauge".

It is not a 3/8" NPT, just curious if it's an AN thread.

Never mind.

I just drilled and tapped one of the aluminum plugs used for the remote oil cooler.

Problem solved.
