I'm doing a lsx in a 1988 foxbody.

I pretty much understand the tcc wiring using the relay to ground power when pedal is pressed.

But what about the stop lamp switch?
Is it a constant 12v like the tcc that needs to be grounded when brake is pressed?

Cuz there is a little white tab on the wire that says "gets 12v when brake is pressed? I wired it to the brake pedal wire that gets power when pressed but my converter isn't disengaging.

Can anyone draw up a diagram for what I need to do?

Im a little confused about your use of the word grounded. You don't want to ground power ever. The switch is either open or closed. Open power is cut off and closed it is on. The TCC needs power with the brakes NOT applied, just the opposite of the brake lights. What kind of switch are you using?

The stock mustang brake light switch. I just tied the wire into the wire which has no power until pedal is pressed.

Those are the 4 wires you need. Without knowing exactly what the switch is from, my guess is the other 2 wires are going to be for the shift interlock (press on brake pedal to shift from park).
