TCC Wiring
Sounds more like you want lockup control for a 700R4/4L60 in a non CC environment
We have to do TCC wiring on Jag conversions all the time (LT1 and LS1), and I have a wiring diagram on how to do it on my website. Pretty simple- takes a $6 relay and your existing brake pedal switch. Have a look:

(we call it brake pedal status, but it's the TCC function)
I hope that helps

I have a 99 Z28 LS1/4L60E in a 1978 TA. Can I connect the PPL (PCM 33) wire (from the Blue 230 plug) to the brake switch or do I need to wire in a SPDT relay? The brake switch above my pedal IS one for cruise control (cruise not present), so I have the extra wires...thanks..

Then you can use it to feed the TCC circuit (which is brake pedal status to the PCM). Otherwise you'll need to monkey around to get the PCM to see what it needs, either with a relay, or by rewiring that unused switch.
I hope that helps

ugh..now I need to have the codes read. Car seems to run great...small progess
Could this be used as a way to disable the lock up feature while in drive without causing the computer to throw a code? What I would like to be able to do is use 4th gear, without the lockup function for times when your driving through the hills and the converter wants to lock & unlock constantly. There are just some times when I want 4th gear, but not 4th locked.
So I could put a switch in line to remove power from the PCM??
Probably not a big deal, but my other question is would this render the cruise control inoperable?

I did notice something strange..when I first put my 5.3/4L60E (the first of a few) in my 67 shot bed, I had not wired the TCC brake switch. I had just assumed I would not get lockup, since it had no voltage down it all the time. To my surprise, the PCM still commanded lockup. It would unlock with closed throttle decell, or when I mashed the gas. My only thought is the PCM must run a diagnostic when the pcm powers up and determines the tcc brake switch circuit is open, and somehow still goes a head and commands lockup.
anyone else ever notice this on a swap?

I'm attaching a diagram of what I have. I need to know where to run the:
1. Pink for TCC from ECM
2. Purple for TCC from ECM
3. Lt. Blue for Stop Lights from ECM (I think, I know that one)
4. White from chassis harness (Brake switch)
I thought I had it figured out from the previous posts but then realized I had two wires from the ECM and got lost again!
