LQ4 Motor Swap

Has anyone or does anyone have any info on swaping a LQ4 6.oL in to a Lt1 Firebird. IF so please let me know, i could use all information i could get. Thanks

Check out the conversion section. Lots of info in there..

BTW. I would try to get a LQ9 insted of the LQ4 inless you putting a turbo or somthing on it... The LQ4 has a dish piston and the LQ9 has a flat top..

I got the motor for free. I cant complain about that. I am looking to do a turbo set up. But for now i will build a engine that can handle one later

Jakeahs04, I see you are new to the board. Welcome! I am going to move this post over to the conversions section as it does not belong in the LTx forum. Also, try using the search function as many people have done this swap and there is alot of information available from past threads.
