Dynatech headers for sale. Never torqued down. Any haze you may see it the glare or the cleaner leaked down from a top I missed while removing tape residue .I am seriously considering to try to go turbo instead. I just need to delay my swap even more. LOL

Hey Clint,
I just finished the fuel system last night. I've been puting it off because I hate working under a car while on the ground. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It will work for now. I am not too happy with the bends choking down but it will work just to get it running. Probably been 3 years since its last run.

I bought a American Autowire UpDate kit to rewire the entire car. I will probably start that this weekend. I want to do a temp. surface rust cleanup before,( but I don't want to delay it even more) the wiring the swap. I TOTALLY hate wiring. Well, terified is more like it. LOL, So we'll see.

My goal it to have it idling before Sept. But I've had those same goals the previous summers too. LOL Thanks for checking in Clint.

Some pics in case someone actually remembers this parts car. Might be trading it to my bro (I owe him some $$) and help him get it running with the stipulation of having first dibs if he wants to sell it when he looks to buy/upgrade to a new house. I warned him that my free time is VERY limited at best.

Well, as you can see, the pics are out of order. the first pic in this post shows the drivers header lower than the pass. This is due somewhat to the way I had the stands tightened. HOPEFULLY I can even it out more byrepositioning the stands. The last pic looks real close to the crossmember, but that is with the wrong stands. I wanted to try the BBC stands vs. the SBC stands that DOUG's stellar directions call out form. I used the Dougs spec'd swap plates, motor mount and stands, and the pass side STILL hit the rear mount of the LCA. The ONLY bright side is the collector (V-bands) is somewhat close to the floorboards. Not too impressed with Dougs product or subpar ceramic coating job.

Well, I will update this whenever my bro or I do something. So.. don't hold your breath. LOL.

Well, I see my last pics don't show up anymore. I've been working on this and just uploaded a few pics with a few new toys. I will try to get on a different computer to upload to the thread. FWIW

I had to move the pass. mount back 2 7/8" to accommodate the low mount AC compressor. This made using the stock ENERGY SUSPENSION mount a NO GO. I had to cut and move the top front hole forward 1 inch. This was the first time I got to use the new big welder.
