Default Oil Pressure/Coolant Temp sensors...

Have a question regarding the oil pressure and coolant temp sensors.

I'm replacing the oil pressure sender on the top of the valley cover with my factory Mazda one so that my stock gauge cluster can read it.

Do I need to plumb in the stock LS1 somewhere else since I removed it? Does the PCM need a signal from it for anything?

And how about the coolant sensor on the driver side head? Can I replace it with my Mazda sensor so my stock gauge cluster can read it?

Or do I need to leave the LS1 sensor in place (for fans or something?) and plumb in my factory Mazda one on the spare boss on the passenger side head?

Basically need to know if I need to run 2 of each sensor....LS1 for the PCM and stock Mazda for my gauge cluster, or how exactly I need to set it up.

Thanks!

Default

coolant need to leave because thats how the pcm turns the fans on use the passenger head for your temp sensor.

oil pressure is fine pcm doesn't need to see it
