I have contacted Dolphin and they sent me a new speedo, it does the same thing. I have no way of getting the tune info, no HP Tuners software or anything, if I did I would gladly have you look at it.
If I could just use a different speedo for 10 minutes I would do it to find out what it might be. I am replacing the VSS just to eliminate. If I exhaust all the ideas I have and have been suggested to me, then I guess I will either get a different speedo or ?.

Contact wait4me and see if he will send your tune file to you. He might, he might not.
I would look around and see if you could find a used speedo for cheap, I know it's a waste of money, as new ones are pricey, but something just doesn't sound right. A VSS sensor can go bad, but there are no moving parts, it's just a magnetic pickup, so odds are it's good.
The more I think about it, the more it just might be electromagnetic interference from other wires around it. Before you buy a speedo, try separtaing the speedo wire from all others, get it away from any 12V source if possible, and see what it does. Sounds like it's seeing a pulse from something....but then again, it could be the Dolphin gauge.
I have never heard of anyone having issues with Autometer, so who knows......

I will contact Wait4me and let you know. The wires are all in the dash, not a whole lot of room to move stuff around. The VSS is the only thing that I could think it might be. I will let you know on all of this, thanks for your help!
