i have a 'world class' t5 in my 65 mustang thats rated to a whopping 330 ft lbs. Not sure if ill keep it, since the ls will probably have more than that even in its first iteration.
nice to have the part number just in case though, thx

I know others have adapted the ford T5 to a BBC bell housing (search C3 corvetteforum) using a 1/2" aluminum spacer. That takes care of the length differential. Those posts also cover the 10 spline disk to use.
The other issue is the pilot bearing. The ford input shaft pilot bearing is larger than the GM. You'll need to have a bushing with the LS7 pilot bearing OD and a ford shaft ID.
