you get what you pay for when it comes to tuning. frost is an excellent tuner. Im not saying everything from ebay is bad, but you dont hear people posting about how great their tune was on a pcm they bought off of ebay lol.

The fuel cell will save you $800-$1k, if it's not baffled can still be used just can't run less than half a tank of fuel to keep from starving injectors.

Got it tore apart yet, first step is the hardest. Post pics when you get started.

The Fuel Cell i have is Sumped to the rear of the car so it should never Starve for fuel and i think it is Baffled on top of that.

I will start pulling out the Old 350 tomorrow and will have some pic for you guys i will be picking up my LS1 motor on the 20th of this month and start ordering parts to start putting it all in the car.

Ain't nothing some engine degreaser and a pressure washer can't handle. Are you gonna weld the seams of the sub-frame while everythings out, I've heard it takes some of the flex out, wish I would've done mine.

"S&P’s tail housing kit to adapt the
4L60E tail housing for the manual speedometer
and the computer electric vehicle speed sensor to
insure proper shifting of the transmission. In order
to be supplied with the correct components, S&P
must know the vehicle gear ratio and tire rollout.
To install the kit you must remove the old tail
housing."

i've said it before, i'll say it again...go speedhut. their GPS speedo is wonderful to work with - no wiring to the trans, no worrying about recalibrating for different tires/axle ratio, etc. plus they're basically plug and play.

OR! buy my autometer ultra lites, which are nearly brand-new. that way i can go with the speedhuts in my '71 (note that I now have the electronic speedo, not the mechanical shown in the photo)

The gauges are 3 3/8" speedo and tach (PNs 4488 and 4497, respectively), and 2 1/16" water temp (PN 4337), fuel level (PN 4314), oil psi (PN 4327), and voltmeter (PN 4391). I spent just over $500 + shipping for them. They're basically brand new (bought them right before the LQx swap), so I'd like to get $400 + shipping for them. That does not include the Covan's dash.

Honestly, I'd only sell them to upgrade to the Speedhuts, so no worries if you're not interested.
