Lowering the motor and biproduct is weight reduction.

From the looks of it, it seems that the tubes are just tacked in for now? If so, not sure if you're planning on incorporating it, but I would strongly suggest adding reinforcements where the tubes weld to the plated/cut sections of the subframe, particularly some gussets in the vertical plane. With all that weight in the front, the frame rails are gonna want to twist inwards and I can see a lot of stress on the welds of the (relatively) small cross-sectioned tubes.

The gussets I'd speak of are in the red below. Also if this ever ends up being a corner-carver on any level, since you're cutting up the subframe and modding it, the braces in the blue would be great at reinforcing the torsional flex of the chopped-up stock subframe, which was weak to start off with. If doing all that bracing isn't an option, I'd recommend at least the front bracing, as it should have more of an effect linking up the fore & aft (chopped) subframe crossmembers.

Had to modify the stock style DSE control arms for the coilovers. Obviously not done.

Rear bars, tin work and tubs are next.

Lol, I figured it was pretty easy to figure out that this was probably going to be addressed. Just been bouncing around on the car so it hasn't been addressed yet. I assure you my chassis guy knows what he's doing.
