Engine is finally here..and started making the front end support for the bumper, hood, intercooler and radiator.
It's not finished yet but everything fits and the hood closes perfectly.
Finally got the engine back..
And since the whole engine bay is gonna be black I figured id add some contrast to it.

I first saw this car in Modified and now you've inspired a friend and myself to go after our own Nissan swaps (his a G35 sedan and mine a 240sx S14). We're both watching with excitement.
Keep it up!

Got a lot of work done tonight. Welded little block off plates in the holes where the old harness and wires used to go through, sanded and painted the engine bay, bled the clutch, finished the wiring, mounted the engine in place, ect. Not much more to go as far as getting it running. I still have to finish the front end and mount the radiator and new lines. Ive decided to put an oil cooler on the car to help with temps. The cooler will be mounted in the driver side well in front of the tire.

Radiator is mounted. Forgive my welding. Ive never mig welded before haha
This is a rough draft. Im going to take everything apart, repaint and make it pretty once I get it back from the body shop.
I modded both wastegates and the turbo port to accept pushlock fittings. Heres another rough draft of how they will be setup. Now I wont have to worry about lines getting old or expanding. These are good to 600psi.
Sorry for the lack of updates..just been busy working on the car but its running and on 6psi the car feels VERY strong.

Got my 14" F/R brake kit today. Alls I can say is HOLY ****!!! The rotors are absolutely gigantic...my back calipers are bigger than my Brembo front calipers. I will post pics a little later but these things should completely fill my 18" rims.

Well, I ended up getting one of the four brakes done. I lost my lug key and had to buy a whole new set of lugs just for the key. I did the ARP 3" wheel studs and the caliper/rotor/stainless line..all in all it was pretty straight forward. My rims are RPF1 18x9.5 with a +18 offset (+38 with a 20mm spacer) and they fit perfect with absolutely no room to play. The top of the caliper has >1mm clearance but the face has more than the brembo. Im gonna finish them up tomorrow hopefully.
For some reason the calipers look the same size but they arent even close.
