I am going to do the body work my self and paint. It has some major rust on the floor but not a problem to fix.... i just bought a 2004 5.3 swap with 4L60 trany and ecu....I am going to do the swap my self i need some help!!!! Where to get a web page on how to do the wiring harness...i want to swap the intake to a Corvette or Camaro FUEL RAIL and i think i have to change the throttle body too to a mechanical cable.. What else do i have to change to make it work ?

A 2004 5.3 should be a 24X reluctor engine. Go to www.lt1swap.com....he has all the wiring info, complete with pictures to rework your 5.3 Vortec harness yourself. It's really not that difficult. I'm sure glad it's you instead of me starting on that bodywork project, LOL. Good luck! Ron

Im so glad it will be a hot rod impala and not a low rider.
Pomona will be a good place to find a lot of parts. I go there all the time.
All that rust looks scary. Good luck with the build and take a lot of pix.
