Other than the blind-everyone-else-on-the-road hid bulbs that's pretty sweet. that magnacharger looks cool in there.

DR's are 275/60/15...room to spare. I get high beamed ALOT with my lights...but dont particularly care. Unfortunently no projector lenses are made for this dinosaur!

Irish 350- LOL touche!
Chevy- I'm running the Marshall instruments scx series gauges
http://marshallinstruments.com/catalog/scx.cfm
Cheapest full sweep digital gauge that I could find that was good quality at the time. Given the chance again I think I'd go autometer or another brand

Forgot to post vids up here!

Cool shakedown flyby...12.somthin

11.54 In car

Gotta have a facebook- but my 11.32 run

I still think she has some more in it...Wanna try again with a true slick so I can launch in boost and not off idle. and some skinny tires in the front to take off some weight. I could also pull out my sub box and all the other assorted crap in the trunk. If I get reaalll antsy I'll install my ls6 cam and get an actual dyno tune. But for comfortably driving to and from the track, making 20 passes or so with no problems I'm very happy with it!

I can't see the FB vid, it says it may have been removed or isn't available due to privacy settings.

I love the quiet exhaust - all the better to sneak up on people.

I love the rally wheels. I wish I had the funds to do this to my Monte.

Heres the 11.32 run- got him to post it!
Not a whole lot of updates. I've still got to install the energy suspension poly mounts I got and I picked up a used Gear vendors overdrive unit to help with cruising. To be honest I'm just enjoying the car for once instead of having it down all the time for projects! It was off the road for close to two years trying to get the major swap bugs worked out I just wanted to actually use it this year!! And I'm deffinently doing that! I drive it a ton, mostly just for daily driving. but a few shows as well. Car is a great street machine and I wouldn't hesitate to take it anywhere! I've been wasting time turbo'ing my civic to keep my gearhead urges at bay...its sooo much cheaper

But the monte Always brings out the smiles! lmao

Exhaust consists of Gbody BBC mid length headers welded to LS1 flanges and a few primary tubes modded. Then to a pypes 2.5" exhaust with X pipe and hooker aerochamber mufflers. Out the back through 2.5" SS style tails.

Heres an exhaust clip. Its very quiet when driving normally. No drone on the highway. Yet sounds ssweet when you romp on it. Finally got what I was looking for..took several exhaust set ups

Very nice Monte and sounds good too. I always loved the mid 80s Montes ever since I threw one together for my lil brother as a first car for him.

Experimented with some GNX fender flares but didn't think she could pull em off. Sold em uncut up instead or hacking away!
Also been driving with some zq8 wheels I picked up Always wanted a nice set- just need some bigger rear tires. They're 245/55/16 all the way around I think. More or less useless on the rear. Fries em in 3rd. But they do look cool and handle the rain alot better!
