Got the PCM, and MAP from Steve@Frost, and the car runs great!! Time to test a little! Thanks Steve for overnighting the PCM, Santa came early, great customer support!! Plan to leave it ugly for a little while, may catch me a kill, car sounds stock with the Z06 cam, but when you get down on it, all hell breaks lose, those 295/50/15s M/T DR are trying there best to hold it.

OK, I have truck maniflods turned up, and forward. The stock wires are being burnt on the manifolds. I cant find where I saw some one use S10 wires to keep from going thru the manifolds. Can anyone tell me what year of S10 wires will work? Or give me a link to that post

Anytime! Its amazing how you can over look the thing that should be common sense! I was looking for the spark plug wires to get them off the manifolds. The car ran ok, but had a skip sometimes. Any way I took wires from a S10 from the junkyard. Not thinking the wires on the engine are just as old as the truck it came out of. Put 6 wires on off the S10, and the car went crazy!!! Im going to install new wires asap, but I need to close the gap on the plugs because it breaks up at WOT. Been so budget minded that I forgot the basic things. The car is amazing!

Ran the car last night, and It makes my Grandnational seem average. I gap the plugs in my GN@30, will that work for the LQ4?

Got the gap set @32, that stop the breaking up at high rpm. Now got to figure out why the pass side O2 sensor wont read over 435-455, I swap them around and they both work on driver side.

Havent been posting for a while, but Ive been just driving it around time a little. I just ordered a snow meth kit, and a wideband kit. I chose the snow kit becaused I installed one on a customers car this week, and like the way its put together, it has a rely for the pump, and priced right from summit. Never tune with a wideband, so if anyone can give me info on the right A/R when spraying meth, also how to fine tune the car.

Well got the wideband installed, and the meth kit(Innovate kit LC1). Had to order a longer hose to reach from the trunk to the intake. The car runs like a animal, I see it knocks the timing back without the meth, hope it adds it back when it see's the meth! Used a fuel cell my friend gave me so I can put 5gal in at a time, I hate checking the jug in my GN after 3passes. Only thing left to do is get some decent front tires, they have been on the car in the weeds since 2005

Got to make a full pass with the car, well if you include backing out the gas, and leaving at idle. Car runs great, I was hoping it would add the timing back when it saw the meth, but it stays at 8degree of timing, is that ok timing? The wideband is showing 9.4-9.9, what you all think?

Got my work cut out for me. I cant seem to get the air out of the brake lines!!! Going to take the leap and get the Hyper tuner kit. Tune seems to be great(Frost Tune by Steve) I just think the timing is to low at WOT(7.5-8.0). I see most folks running 14-18 timing that is running meth, so when I get the HP I will try it at 12*. The wideband seems to be fine, the AeroForce gauge is a must have!

Nice build, I don't know if I missed it, did you use the truck accessories too?

I'm glad to see this build also, only successful swap i've seen without using ls1/2/6 intake and truck accessories. curious if anyone else has done this successfully. i too am planning a 6.0 lq4 swap in my 72 T/A clone, have been reading posts on all the hiccups and headaches when making it all fit. i know i will need to move the A/C compressor and swap the oil-pan etc... in the swap. i'm very "LS" green so before i tackle my build, i am doing a lot of reading and researching.
