Default New Dynatech LSx swap headers

Has anyone seen/used these? http://www.speedwaymotors.com/NEW-Dy...030C#answerbox

I would like to try these vs Edelbrocks. Eddy's Ti-tech coating doesn't have a good record.

Yeah but the Eddy's are coated along with being stainless. I will be the first to admit the coating isn't the greatest (have them on my car), being stainless and along with having a 3" collector the edelbrock header has my vote.

I have set for my 73 Z28 L92 swap. 1.875" tubes. Not bolted in yet but they sure look nice. Very nice finish. Hope they don't hang down too low.

This particular header is not showing available until April 15th through Speedway. I order the same header (except w/3" collectors) through Summit. They should be here on Monday. Summit shipped a set out and I received them on Friday. When I pulled them out of the box WOW someone goofed. They were the polished stainless set. After closer examination they fit a 2007+ HD 1500/2500 they were in the wrong box. I called Dynatech just to make sure they were not compatible with the Camaro but that was a big "NO". If the powder coated headers look anything like their stainless headers, I am all in. Even the flange mounts and the collectors were quality. The Dynatech headers are not tuned headers but for half price I will sacrifice a few HP.

Thats 2010. Not 2011. Thats why I was wondering if these headers ever made it to regular production. Anyone who gets or has these, please post your opinion of them. Fit etc... Also, please add what mounts you have?

Ebay 1"setback plates w/ BBC framestands here. I am hoping the Dynatechs don't hang down as far as the Edelbrock LTs.

FWIW= Dynatech is in the middle of changing over their part number system. There are two different part numbers for the same header.
1) 115-91140030C
2) 715-21410

Just in case you were looking elsewhere for the same product you may have to use one or the other #'s. When my Dynatech headers arrive tomorrow did you want me to post some pics to your thread Jimbo? I am sure you will have something smart to say but just thought I would ask.

:
Those might have two different numbers as they are for a 67-69 f-body

The Dynatech customer service told me that all of their part numbers are changing. Just a little FYI in case one place doesnt show the part number they might be using either of the two part #'s but not both. I had a difficult time trying to find the headers at Summit until I called Dynatech to get the other number. What exactly are you putting the headers on? Did you still want me to post a pic of the Camaro headers tomorrow? If not no biggie.

I waited six weeks for mine direct from Dynatech. At least one person on here has used them with car shop 1 inch back plates on a 69 camaro.

I was thinking about using the 2 1/2" ones beacuse they cost less And I will only be using them for a year. Then I will be doing my turbo set up... The 3" is 200 more and would be sweet. but IDK

This wasn't the case with me as a I got 3 " adapters.. Headers are the same, just different adapters. The price should be the same.

Just got mine in from Summit today. I ordered them on Thursday of last week. Three business days, not to shabby! My only complaint is the numbers 5 and 7 cylinders will need a special end on the spark plug wires due to interference with the number 3 header tube.
