clears in my buddies 96 s10 u have to notch the frame for a/c though.....he isnt running ps ......hood clearance is tight due to a larger alternator....but the factory alternator clears just fine.

My car has the F-body accessories....yes it clears...lower drivers side.

I read before I bought my car (done)...by time you swap the intake, accessories, and oil pan...you are time and money ahead buying a 346ci LS1. Of course...you could find all the parts real cheap...

Shouldn't be too difficult to find a used '97-'00 LS1 intake manifold for $50, that's what I paid for mine. You need the matching fuel rail, and that was another $50 in my case.
The '99-'05 truck intake can work in my Fiero swap, with a bit of finagling, but the decklid needs a wee bit of trimming. And the beauty cover is out of the question.

well i meant the truck alternator. but are the car acc. relatively cheap?

Truck Acc. were an easy fit on my 55 sedan. The motor is carbd but truck intake would clear no problem.
