Is there any difference between the 4.8 and 5.3 flexplate?
I'm also curious if there is a difference between the 4.8 and LS2 flexplate and if I can swap the LS2 flexplate onto the 4.8? I want to hook up a 4.8 to my 4L65e trans and was hoping I could do it with parts I already have.
Thanks for any help.

I would think the spacer is only needed if a trans from an older SBC style engine is used. IE, TH350/400/700R4 or older 4L60. If the trans you are using came from behind an LS or Vortec based motor, than a standard flexplate is all you should need.

I'll be using the LS2 computer but have HPTuners so shouldn't have an issue getting the motor to run smooth.
