New style Russell fittings came in. No more having to worry about the old style popping off with the newer screw on.

Not the prettiest but will do until I change out the fuel pump sometime and replace the hardlines

Not sure how the mufflers got misaligned one of the cuts must not have been perfectly straight, wish I had a band saw or something. Oh well itll do. Just need tailpipes sometime.

Made the bracket for the new gas pedal. 1/4" plate should suffice . Added a few more welds and painted it but didnt take pics.

Got the flashed ecu on tues and read it with HPTuners but then it didnt recognize the 2010 Canyon vin so it wouldnt let me liscense it. So now Im waiting for Hptuners to fix my vin/os pair error but until then I did manage to test fire it with the stock 5.3 Canyon tune but vats shuts down my fun fast.

Sounds sweet dude. Great job! Sounds like a little rumble. Very nice. What tune do you have? Just a TSP mailorder w/VVT tables?

Running an '10 e67 ecu out of a '10 Colorado 5.3 vvt. So my gauges do work because of the serial data output the e67 has. I changed any differences between the 5.3 tune to match a 08 ly6 tune and changed the injector tables to match the ls3 injectors Im running. So right now just a stock tune. Need to get in touch with TSP to get the vvt tables modified. Has a decent rumble. The idle is turned up to 900 rpms to deal with the cam until I can get the pedal to work so I can tune it.

Sweet build. Who did the headers, and what mounts are you using?

Thanks, Headers and mounts are a custom set I bought off a member on the s10 forum I belong to. He bought his lsx swapped truck with them on it so no one really knows what the headers started out as. The upper motor mounts are from an fbody lower frame pads are custom.

Ah that sucks it looks like those headers fit pretty nicely, last I heard about LS swap headers for S10's it was CPW maybe making them and I think that was it for LT's.

Don't you have another truck? I coulda swore I remember your avatar over on S10F was like a blue and silver Sonoma

Nope this is my only truck. As far as LT's CPW doesnt make them anymore because of time constraints with making all the wiring harness which he'd rather do. BRP makes several sizes of headers now. There might be a couple other places now but I havent paid much attention.

Well pedal came down to be non-compatible with the e67 ecu and '10 Colorado tune. It's a TBSS pedal which has the 2 sensors that should both show the same voltage as each other from rest to wot, my ecu is looking for a pedal that has one sensor showing 1v-~2v and the other sensor going from 2v-4v so Im exchanging it for a pedal out of a Colorado which kind of sucks since its not as nice as the TBSS, Just a solid plastic rod. I liked the TBSS since it was metal and the actual pedal part had its own pivot.

Is TSP actually going to tune/flash your ECU or are you just getting the recommended VVT table from them so you can modify yourself? Interesting to see that it can run with the stock tune. Congrats on getting her fired up. It sounds great in the video; not too many S10s / Sonomas that sound like that!

Thanks, Im hoping that I can just send them my hpt file have them modify it and send it back. If I have to send my entire ecu to them then Ill have to wait until winter when I put it away for 5 months. Pedal should be here next week then hopefully I can drive it. I keep getting so close only to have something else come up to hold me back. Only have until maybe nov to drive it before the weather gets too bad around here.

Fabbed up the passenger tailpipe.

Just noticed how badly I need to clean the undercarriage.

What are you using to cut the exhaust tubing? Chop saw? Band saw?

Freehand with a tape measure, marker, sawzall and a vise. I wish I had a bandsaw or chopsaw it would have been soo much easier.

Drivers side tailpipe

Got a pedal that actually works.

Colorado pedal. Its bigger the the tbss one and mounts on the same plane as the factory pedal so there isnt much room to work with so it doesnt fit as well as the tbss was going to but oh well.

So I was able to drive it some, just up and down the drive. Idles a 1500 for some reason so I adjusted something too far trying to get it to idle with the maf working. As soon as I push in the clutch when coming to a stop it revs to 2000rpms and sits there for a few secs before calming down to 1500. Speedometer doesnt work, scanner says 158mph at all times hptuners mentioned that something is up with my ecu since the controller seed says "FFFF" so the speedo default is 158mph.
