Default lt1 to ls1 swap.

I heard its not worth it but after researching a bit more It doesn't seem like all that much work.

Ls1 tranny, cross member k-member, spear tech harness, ls1 pcm, corvette fuel filter and regulator.

I was going to build my lt1 up with heads, cam and forged bottom end. but it almost seems almost better to buy the conversion parts and pick up a engine ls1 that is already built.

Ideas or suggestions anyone? (I bought a diesel truck and a 07 cbr 1000 so I've been tinkering with other toys )

edit: Also I could use my lt1 engine for a mud truck project I've been considering doing with my father.

You can add to your list : throttle cable, engine mounts, steering rack and shaft, front drive accessories and brackets. The swap is not bad and with just a cam and cheap Pacesetters my car runs the same 1/4 as it did with a LE2 H/C emission setup. Great thing is I gained 8 mpg! You can check out the link in my sig for the details.
