Ok, here's a few more pics! Tomorrow my driveshaft should be done, and tomorrow or most likely Monday my power steering line should be done, then I can actually attempt to start the car. I still need to extend my tac module harness about 3 feet to reach the drivers side from where the old ECU goes.
I managed to put the new ECU where the old passenger side airbacg went not a bad spot.
The gas pedal will get lowered and pushed back once the car is driving and I can make it to by buddies place again. It looks more off than it is. It really just needs to come down about 2 inches and back about 1.

Ok, here's a few more pics... Still haven't got my driveshaft or power steering line. They tell me tomorrow. Fingers crossed that they do. Today I went ahead and installed my oil pressure sender, splice for brake booster, and the last hose clamps for my heater core lines.
The giant hole where the oil filter is was there when I got the car the intercooler piping originally ran through it. It's an awesome and easy spot to get to my oil filter. At the edge of the picture you can see how much room there is in front of the radiatior with these mounts and the CTS-V accessory drive.
Here you can see all the space between my strut bar and the engine.
This is just a random pic of the driverside mount installed

Long time no update. I've been driving the car a little bit, but the tune still isn't quit right. I'm supposed to go back on Friday at some point to try an get it lined out. It's kicking a P0101 code for the MAF, so hopefully it shouldn't take too long to correct. Mike at vengeance has been super helpful and easy to work with.
Other than that it's been fighting cooling issues. I have a taurus fan and 160 degree stat on order to combat the horrible heat that the LQ9 likes to produce. I should have that done on Thursday if things work out well. If that kills the heat maybe here in a month or so I will be able to get my custom A/C lines done and get that running!
Anyways hoepfully more pics and a vid to post on Friday or Saturday.

Here's the taurus fan installed. Fit pretty well, and the engine is finally lined out. I still have an exhaust leak near where the manifolds bolt to the exhaust, but I will fix that later. The new fan and stat fixed the cooling issues.
The only problem is now I have a wheel bearing going out that I have to replace on Monday. Eventually I will be able to drive my car for more than a day without it shitting on me!
The dyno day had me putting down around 330whp and 340tq with the cat still installed, the garbage y pipe, and the silencer tip still in. So, he said to bring it back once the exhaust is cleaned up and we should be able to squeeze another 40ish out of it.

Ah, the life of owning a project car. Just keep w/ it... I'm finally to the point where I can just get in and go myself. I still, out of habit, get out and pop the hood and check everything often.
If I ask myself why I do this to myself I go for a drive and mash the gas and remember.
OH!!! Nice swap and car!

Ok, well I got the wheel bearing/hub off of both sides, replaced my lower control arms with stock style vs the tubular with pillow ***** (noisey as hell), and the front bearing seal stuck to the hub shaft... So once my new hubs show up it's off to a shop to see if they can press off the old and on the new.

This just continues to suck. Dropped my stuff off at the machine shop and they said it will be done by the end of the week........ It takes less than 30min to seperate those pieces and press them back onto the new bearings. I have to borrow a car and hope that it will be available before the shop closes everytime I go up there. I think I will call tomorrow and see if they can expidite it a little bit.
I'm not bashing the shop they built my motor for me and do great work, but normally I'm not in as much of a hurry to get a part.

Wow, remind me never to go gambling with you. Your luck sucks. Also you should post some pics of the whole car (unless I overlooked them). VERY nice looking swap, love the valve covers. Nicely done.
