4l80e swap question

I'm swapping a 4l80e and a s60 rearend into my 2002 camaro and need to know what the length for the driveshaft would be I'm ordering a 3inch chromoly strange ds but they want the length but I haven't gotten the trans or rear yet any info would be greatly appreciated...

NOT order until you can measure and provide the accurate info. Missing it too long is 1 thing. Too short and you start over.

well i've found that the 4l80e is about 1/16th longer then the 4l60e so i should be able to just have them take off that much more for the swap my tranny will be from a 91-96 core couldn't find if the length was any different from year to year

I just installed a 4l80e into a 69 camaro and I'm pretty sure it's way more than a 16th difference. I think you should intall it first, then double check your measurement.

I would also like to know the answer to this question. I order the same rearend and I have the same trans. I know someone on here has already done this so please chime in here. Thanks in advance!
