Here is my last years project. built this one in about 3 months.
68 Convertible named GS/SS it has an LS1 Procharged motor with a Bowler Performance 4L65E transmission, Heidt's ProG susp and subframe con. 4 lnked ford 9 inch rearend, Corvette themed with C6 Grand Sport Fender vents, C5 door handles, 4 Seats front and rear from Mid America Motor works, ZR1 Wheels, and Z06 brakes, Hyrdatech brake booster, Anvil Carbon Fiber hood, nascar style chin spoiler and splitters, Race Mesh grills, HID and led headlights, Billet hinges, carbon fiber covered bumper and spoiler, Magna flow stainless exhaust, Sony Audio,video,navigation sysem, Auto meter gauges.
just thought I would share the project I will be showing off this year and working hard on the SSAWD for next year

Here is an update LSX Holley intake Body Kit is almost done. Wide body front and rear, Ride tech air ride susp. next is a custom stinger style hood and a custom tonno cover.

Probly parts from a newer cts4 getrag front diff and pieces cut and welded from a 3.6l oil pan so the axle shaft can go through it like on the cts

Easier would probably be getting the pan and front drive setup from a AWD Holden Coupe4 or Ute since there already LS based.

Looking at those 6-lug front brakes I would say trailblazer or truck parts.

Good eye! Those look like they might be Escalade/Avalanche to me. Not sure about the TB. Never worked on one.

yes it is TB SS front drive set up
seemed to be the best plan for me.
Using Ride Tech air ride
a custom 4 link rear end. I will have more pics soon

What transmission are you guys using? Something like the Subaru Sti 6 speed would interesting, but I am guessing some sort of transfer case?

we are using a Bowler Performance it is built up 4L70E transmission
Pace Performance LSX376 motor with a Procharger F1 with 18 lbs of boost.
est 800 HP.
should be sweet.
I will post more pics soon we are thrashing for it to be done for SEMA.
we have about 4 weeks left.

ok here is a few pics.
rear sheetmetal is all done wide body with vents
dash is custom with Digital Dakota gauges and a sony in dash nav/dvd unit.
Holleys new EFI system with the intake running toward the rear and the Procharger feeding it from under the dash.
18 to 20 lbs of boost should do it.
