Sorry its taking so long guys the only time I get to work on the car is when I'm home on leave or a 4 day wknd... It's a long drive from Maryland to south Carolina and I have to drive that every time I go on vacation... It will be running ledge time I get home which should be the next federal holiday whichever that is...

for reference if someone is doing a TH400 conversion and mating it to a 5.3 with a standard 400 convertor all you need is a flat flexplate and spacer like the one pictured above, easy as pie. they can be found in most 6.0L with the 4L80's

finally got it to start and run for about two seconds, i am waiting on a cable for my computer to be able to hook up hptuners and zero out the MAF, delete the rear O2 sensors and some other stuff to get it to idle correctly. i need to mount the radiator and put some antifreeze in it and ill be able to start idle tuning... cant wait! all kinds of motivated to get this thing running. felt like a fat kid in a candy store when i heard a breath of life come from this beast.
